The National Vitality Center and Hy-Vee Foods of Albert Lea are partnering for a gift basket fundraiser to raise money for furnishings of the Vitality Center in downtown Albert Lea.

For $25 people can purchase a beautifully wrapped gift basket prepared by Hy-Vee that includes a variety of longevity foods and some special recipes to try. Each basket features tea, beans, olive oil, almonds, brown rice, dark chocolate, dried cranberries, whole wheat pasta and recipes.

Baskets can be ordered at the Community Development Office in the top floor of City Hall or at the Albert Lea Convention & Visitors Bureau in Northbridge Mall. Both locations will have sample baskets on display. Pre-orders will be accepted through Monday, Dec. 7.  Basket pick-up times are set for Friday, Dec. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Hy-Vee.
