With United South Central senior guard Riley Swearingen in foul trouble, the Rebels boys’ basketball team was able to turn to a couple of post players to lead the team to a 68-64 victory over Belle Plaine Thursday in Wells.

Sophomore Kyle Bauman scored a team-high 22 points and added 12 rebounds while senior Nick Fure chipped in 16 points.

Despite playing limited minutes Swearingen still scored 10 points and USC rallied from a four point deficit in the second half.
