Salvation Army still needs $49,000 to reach its goal

The “red kettle” portion of this year’s campaign comes to a close on Christmas Eve. Freeborn County’s Salvation Army will be continuing the rest of the “mail” portion of this year’s drive through Jan. 15. An overall dollar amount of cloes to $49,000 is still needed before this year’s campaign comes to a close.

The demand for services requested from the Salvation Army has driven the overall Christmas goal up to $171,820. This year’s goal is necessary to continue providing services at this rate. Regardless of the outcome, the Salvation Army of Albert Lea will continue to provide servcies to residents fo Freeborn County.

The campaign is close to over but the bell rings through out the year.
