Spring Grove blows out Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team

The Spring Grove girls’ basketball team entered Friday’s contest with Glenville-Emmons with an average margin of victory of 38 points a game and the Wolverines became the latest in a string of five opponents to get blown out by the Lions, this time 56-15 in Glenville.
Spring Grove (6-1, 6-0 SEC) led 44-4 at halftime and limited the Wolverines (4-2, 4-1 SEC) to 11 second half points.
Jacey Anderson and Brooke Johnson each had 11 points for the Lions while Kalli VanRyswyk led Glenville-Emmons with six points.
The Wolverines had 28 shots in the game and committed 21 turnovers.
Glenville-Emmons travels to Grand Meadow Monday.
