Albert Lea police arrested two people at 4:45 a.m. today for allegedly breaking into several cars. The arrests were made in the parking lot behind Jake’s Pizza on West Clark Street.

Arrested and now in custody are Miles Achord, 18, Albert Lea, and a 17-year-old juvenile. They allegedly broke into at least three parked vehicles and took whatever was available. In one vehicle they broke a window and took a stereo unit.

The stereo and several miscellaneous items have been recovered, according to a police report.
