Bulldog girls hold on for victory against West Hancock

After a loss to third-ranked Newman Catholic Friday, the Lake Mills girls’ basketball team bounced back to hold off West Hancock 45-42 Saturday in Lake Mills.
The Bulldogs (9-2, 6-1 NIC) built a four-point halftime lead and hung on late as the Eagles closed to within three in the fourth quarter.
Lindy Pins led Lake Mills with 14 points and Morgan Fjelstad added 11 points.
The Bulldogs play Forest City Tuesday in Lake Mills.
