Ellnora A. Mueller (Rice, Rinehart) of Shirley, Ark., and formerly of Austin, died peacefully with family present on Dec. 29, 2009.
The family is grateful to Dave and Monica Rinehart and family of Kasota and Karen Johnson of Shirley, Ark., for the care and love they provided during her illness. A memorial service is planned for May 8, 2010, at the Hayfield cemetery.
She was born Aug. 15, 1925, to William and Anna (Fanton) Rice and grew up in Pine River. She married Harold Rinehart on Aug. 8, 1945, and they lived in the Austin area until Harold’s death. She is survived by her three children: Bill Rinehart of Cresco, Iowa, Terri Grunzke of Freeborn and Steve Rinehart of Redmond, Wash.
After Harold’s death, she married Henry Mueller. They were married for 20 years and were active in the VFW in Albert Lea and Shirley, Ark.
Ellnora enjoyed reading, sewing, music, scrabble, dancing, crocheting, visiting and being with her children. She was happy to have all of her children together in her last days.
She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Harold; Henry; her parents, Bill and Anna; her brothers and sister; and several aunts, uncles and in-laws.
