Lake Mills girls storm past Forest City

The Lake Mills girls’ basketball team used a strong first quarter to set the tone on Tuesday night as the Bulldogs defeated Forest City 43-25.

Lake Mills (8-3,5-2 NIC) used an 11-2 start to pull ahead and cruised into halftime in control 21-10. Over the last two quarters, the Bulldogs used a 22-15 scoring advantage to seal the victory.

Lindy Pins scored a game-high 21 points to lead Lake Mills. Amanda Lampman had seven points and Josie Brackey had six points and eight rebounds.

Forest City was led by Jazmayne Monson, who scored six points. Bailey Gilbertson chipped in five points for the Indians.

Lake Mills will be in action Friday against North Iowa in Lake Mills.
