Local, state and federal law enforcement held a mock terrorism incident on Saturday morning in Minneapolis as part of a training exercise.

The exercise was done to see how well Minneapolis police and other agencies are prepared for a possible terrorism incident in the Twin Cities.

Target Corp. hosted the exercise at its headquarters — to give officers a chance to train in a realistic environment.

The training was from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The public saw a large volume of emergency vehicles in the area during the exercise.
