Rebels run past Alden-Conger

Kyle Bauman’s 22 points helped the United South Central boys’ basketball team put Alden-Conger away 67-41 Tuesday in Alden.
The Knights (6-7) trailed by nine at halftime but the Rebels (9-5) broke the game open in the second half.
Nick Fure added 12 points for USC as it won for the third consecutive game.
Spencer Niebuhr led Alden-Conger with 13 points and Tyler Adix added 10.
The Knights play Thursday against Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial in Alden while the Rebels play Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Friday in Wells.
