Ronald Supalla, 63

Funeral services for Ronald John Supalla of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel, Albert Lea. The Rev. James Berning and Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Albert Lea area veterans groups.
Ronald died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at his home in Albert Lea. He was 63 years of age.
Ronald was born Nov. 30, 1947, in Mankato, the son of Leonard and Adeline (Stencel) Supalla. He graduated high school in Minnesota Lake. On July 17, 1971 he was united in marriage to Carol Miller in St Peter.
Ronald had been employed as an electrician and traveled the world with his work for Preferred Machining out of Arvada, Colo. He retired in 2006.
Ronald had lived in Colorado for many years before moving to Yankton, S.D. For the past six months, he lived in Albert Lea.
Ronald enjoyed fishing and any kind of building projects. He also loved landscaping.
Ronald is survived by his wife Carol of Albert Lea; brothers: Ray (Trudy) Supalla of Lincoln, Neb., Dennis Supalla of Arvada, Colo., and Ken Supalla of Waseca; three sisters survive: Carol Storevik of Fridley, Mary (Al) Sigfusson of Mankato, and Lynn (Mike) Myers of Seattle, Wash. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
