The Albert Lea boys’ swimming and diving team finished 11th Saturday at the Section 1A meet in Inver Grove Heights.

The Tigers scored 46 points at the 13-team meet. St. Thomas Academy won the meet with 413 points while Simley placed second with 389.5 points and Red Wing third with 274 points.

Albert Lea sent three relays to the “B” finals and got one victory in the “B” finals.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Mitch Jones, Isaac Olson, Larry Holcomb and Corbin Schultz won the “B” final with a time of 1 minute, 46.97 seconds for 18 team points.

The 200 medley relay team of Schultz, Andrew Kozelsky, Abe Gardner and Jones finished second in the “B” final with a time of 2 minutes, 6.72 seconds to earn 14 points for the Tigers.

The 400 freestyle relay team of Olson, Holcomb, Andy Ehrhardt and Beau Gardner took second in the “B” final with a time of 4:23.15 and earned 14 points.
