Kyle Bauman and Nick Fure helped control the interior for the United South Central boys’ basketball team Friday and the Rebels rolled to a 68-49 victory over Mankato Loyola in Mankato.

Bauman scored a game-high 21 points and Fure added a season-high 16 points for USC, which snapped the Crusaders’ four-game winning streak.

“We knew going in if we could get the ball to the front court we’d have an advantage,” said Rebels head coach Rob Stevermer. “Once we were able to break their pressure those guys were pretty tough for them to handle.”
