Mabel-Canton holds off Glenville-Emmons

The Glenville-Emmons girls’ basketball team couldn’t close out Mabel-Canton Thursday despite having several opportunities in the final minute and the Cougars hung on for a 45-43 victory in Mabel.
Emily Belshan scored 19 points and Kalli VanRyswyk added 12 points for the Wolverines (11-12, 9-8 SEC).
Glenville-Emmons plays Houston Friday in Glenville.
