Memorial services for Sondra Dawn Allen, 72, of Albert Lea will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Church. Lt. Stephen Hansen will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service.
Sondra died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at her home.
Sondra Dawn Allen was born on Nov. 15, 1937, in Albert Lea to Samuel and Corina (Kauffman) Stoner. She grew up in the Albert Lea and Conger area. Sondra attended country school and Albert Lea High School. Following graduation, Sondra went to beauty school in Austin. On Nov. 21, 1970, she was united in marriage to Robert H. Allen in Albert Lea. Sondra was active in various civic activities and a member of the Salvation Army where she volunteered in numerous capacities. Sondra enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and word search, cooking, crafts, and collecting things. 
Survivors include her children: Don Becker, Billy (Heather) Allen, Robin (Audrey) Allen; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Stoner; sisters: Connie Miller and Jackie Miller; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sondra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; great-grandson, Angel; and brother, Roger Stoner.
