A really good time was had by all who attended the first Sons of Norway Sweetheart Dance on Feb. 13 at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in Albert Lea. Kudos and thanks so much to the committee who undertook so much planning and preparation for this fun event, principally: Wayne Olson, Cheryl Harold, Rita Peterson and Ann Bryson.

Thanks to the many businesses and persons who contributed the wide variety and wonderful items for the silent auction; as well as the door prizes. These contributions and the people who bid on them will help Sons of Norway retain their building and keep their Norwegian pancake breakfasts going as well as maintain their scholarship program.

Thanks to Mega Force for a good variety of music and light show for the dancing pleasure of all in attendance. Thanks to all who came to celebrate Valentine’s Day 2010 in this special way with your Valentine; spouse, friend, or significant other! Finally, Thanks to Wedgewood Cove for hosting this event with wonderful decorations, dance floor, cash bar  and hors d’oeuvres, which made this evening an event to remember!
