The Northwood-Kensett boys’ basketball team rallied from a first half deficit to beat Central Springs Saturday 45-40 in Northwood.

The Vikings trailed 26-18 at halftime but held the Panthers to 14 points in the second half.

Jacob Gordon scored a game-high 16 points for Northwood-Kensett and Sam Arnold added 11 points.

The Vikings play North Iowa Thursday in the first round of the Class 1A District 4 playoffs in Buffalo Center.
