Arnold led the Vikings in scoring with 12.6 points per game and shot 60 percent from the field. Arnold was one of the constants for Northwood-Kensett as it suffered through injuries in the early stages of the season. Athletic and quick, Arnold helped the Vikings get out in transition and get to the hoop. Arnold also led the team in rebounding with 7.5 a game.

Marcus Gaskill, junior, Lake Mills

The low-post option for the talented Bulldogs became more of an offensive threat in his junior season. Gaskill averaged 14.9 points per game, doubling his total from last season. A foot injury forced him to miss the final game of the season and it was clear then Lake Mills missed his presence. Gaskill also led the Bulldogs in rebounding with 7.6 per game.

Alex Grunhovd, junior, Lake Mills

Grunhovd wasn’t known as a scorer this year, but he’s certainly capable. Instead, he lead the fast-paced Bulldogs offense. Grunhovd finished tied for fourth in the state of Iowa for assists with 159. Grunhovd led the state at one time and finished with 7.5 per game. Perhaps more telling is his assist to turnover ratio was 2.52.

Travis Marth, senior, Alden-Conger

Marth led the Knights with 11.4 points per game as well as steals in his senior season. Marth shot 40 percent from the field and helped lead Alden-Conger this season. Marth found himself as one of the main scoring threats for the Knights this season as they dealt with injuries to starters.
