Inpulse, an a cappella vocal band, has announced it will be performing in Albert Lea on Tuesday, March 30, for a concert in the Albert Lea High School auditorium at 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 general admission or $25 for a family and can be purchased through the choir office at (507) 379-5386, or at the door. Proceeds from the concert will go to the ALHS choirs.
Inpulse is a nationally touring a cappella group, performing entirely without instruments, utilizing the beauty and versatility of the human vocal instrument and astonishing vocal percussion. The four members of InPulse come for all over the world, but came together while studying classical voice at St. Olaf and Concordia colleges in Minnesota.
Inpulse endeavors to advance the art of a cappella into mainstream popular music through engaging performances and the education of young singers, and will be performing for students during the school day. Inpulse has performed in 39 states across the country to audiences of all ages and has worked with over 100,000 students. They have sold over 25,000 copies of their three albums, which have received critical acclaim in the a cappella community.
