Anti-immigration letter contains irony

In Mr. Mike Gordon’s recent anti-immigration letter he states that, “Our nation cannot remain great if hard decisions are made on emotions and personal agendas over facts and common sense.”

I could not agree with him more on this statement, yet I find great irony in his decision to include this sentiment in an editorial espousing anti-immigration policies. Historically, anti-immigration rhetoric has been based on the very same pathos which Mr. Gordon’s letter condemns.

I would strongly encourage anyone who is interested in this issue to research it extensively using objective and reputable sources.
