Memorial services for Carol Lynn Scott, 53, of Geneva, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Laeger-Hagemeister will officiate. Interment will be at the Clarks Grove Cemetery.
Carol died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at St. John’s Lutheran Home.
Carol Lynn Scott was born on March 17, 1956, to Walter and Vernetta (Lawson) Scott in Albert Lea. She grew up in the Clarks Grove area and attended school in Ellendale. After high school she pursued a drafting degree and did free lance drafting work. Carol enjoyed reading, photography, drawing and playing with her cats.
Survivors include her mother, Vernetta Scott of Geneva; brother, Dulane Scott of Erie, Ill.; sisters: Sharon Scott of Dayton, Iowa, Melissa Anderson of Owatonna and Leah Wayne of Geneva; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Walter Scott, and brother, William Scott.
