I would like to take a moment and thank the Tribune for not only making many of their articles available online, but for allowing readers to post their comments to the respective articles as well. If this freedom has a downside it is that readers can post almost anything and remain anonymous behind some ridiculous username. I am sickened when I read articles recognizing the accomplishments of student-athletes only to have them and their teams ridiculed anonymously. If a reader feels the need to criticize high school students publicly, they should at least have enough conviction to sign their real name. Anything less is both classless and gutless.
