Louise Ulstad

Funeral services for Louise Thelma Ulstad, 77, of Albert Lea will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Baker will officiate. Interment will be at the Hartland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Louise died Friday, March 12, 2010.
Louise Thelma Ulstad was born on Oct. 11, 1932, to Case and Jacoba (Dekoning) Reynen in Hollandale. She grew up in the Hollandale area and attended Westside School in Hollandale. On Dec. 4, 1976, she was united in marriage to Armand Ulstad in Albert Lea. Louise was a day-care provider and loved caring for children. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Louise enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, games, especially Scrabble. She also loved baking, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Armand; daughter, Patricia (Eugene) Adamek; granddaughters, Ashleigh Adamek and Courtney Stempfer; sisters, Matilda Peterson, Annie Engebretson and Dorothy Emery; and brother, John Reynen.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Paul and Phil Johnson; daughter, Sandra Johnson; and sisters, Bertha Tello and Cornelia Reynen.
