The elementary and secondary art show is going on at the Albert Lea Art Center, 224 S. Broadway Ave., through April 3.

Lakeview, Sibley, Halverson and Hawthorne elementary schools, Southwest Middle School and Albert Lea High School have artwork on display. An open house was held March 7, with more than 80 visitors, including many of the young artists who had artwork on display. The art that is displayed includes paintings, pencil drawings, masks, three-dimentional works, stand-up posters, Georgia O’Keefe chalk flower drawings, Louise Nevelson abstract expression work and much moire. Regular gallery hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
