Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies investigated three fire incidents over the weekend.

The first took place at 9:19 p.m. Saturday with the report of a fire in a field near 277th Street and 890th Avenue in Moscow Township. Robert John Schmidt, 36, was cited for having no burning permit

The second incident involved a fire in a shed on Arrowhead Road near Emmons reported at 2:01 p.m. Sunday. No other information is available regarding the extent of damage.

Harold Grove Todd, 44, was warned regarding burning without a permit for a fire reported at 3:36 p.m. Sunday near 130th Street, Glenville.
