In September of 2000, Alice moved to Knutson Place Apartments.
Alice was a member of East Freeborn Lutheran Church, the Senior Club of Geneva and the Albert Lea Senior Center. She liked sewing, baking, crocheting and knitting, playing cards, traveling and fishing. She had served as a volunteer at Thorne Crest Retirement Center and St. John’s Lutheran Home. She also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins.
She is survived by her children: Duane Enderson (special friend Georgia Alt), Edward (Judy) Enderson, Roger (Shirley) Enderson, Barbara (Al) Tullberg all of Albert Lea, Patricia (De) Bendtsen of Rochester, Margaret (Jim) List of Austin and Alton (Cathy) Enderson of Albert Lea; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, on Sept. 10, 1995; daughter-in-law, Dona Enderson, in 1998; brothers: Lawrence and Marlin; and sisters: Ora, Ethel, Irene and Nellie (at birth).
Alice had left a special written note to her close friends “Thanks for caring and being so supportive of me throughout the years.”
Blessed be her memory!
