A Christian meeting for National Day of Prayer will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Crossroads Church, 3402 Hoeger Lane, Albert Lea.

The theme for this day is “Prayer! For Such a Time As This,” inspired by Naham 1:7 that states: “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”

The mission of the National Day of Prayer Task Force is to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, mobilizing the Christian community to intercede for America and its leadership in the seven centers of power: government, military, media, business, education, church and family.

The community is invited to this time of prayer and worship. Child care will be provided.
