U.S. health officials say Minnesota ranked eighth in the nation in swine flu vaccinations and led the nation in vaccinating one at-risk group.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday released the first state-by-state report on turnout.

The report says 31 percent of Minnesotans six months of age or older received vaccination for pandemic swine flu. The average for all states combined was 24 percent.
