Panthers softball hold off W-E-M

Jade Schultz struck out 14 and allowed six hits in seven innings in an 8-5 victory over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Thursday in New Richland.

Kacie Phillips drove in three runs and went 1-for-3 and Kate Quam went 2-for-3 for the Panthers.

NRHEG (4-7, 2-3 Gopher) built a 8-0 lead before the Buccaneers scored in the fifth.
