The Albert Lea Grizzlies, a semipro nine-man football team in the Southern Plains Football League will open the season May 8 against the South Central Hawgs at the Albert Lea junior varsity football field at the Hammer Field Complex.

The Grizzlies will play the remainder of their home schedule at Brookside Field in Albert Lea.

The Grizzlies will play Buffalo Ridge in Lake Benton May 15 and return to Albert Lea May 22 to play Dakota Doom. The Grizzlies have a bye week May 29 and play the South Central Hawgs June 5 in Truman. Albert Lea concludes its home schedule June 12 against Buffalo Ridge and wraps up the regular season against Dakota Doom in Lake Benton.
