Anita Staloch, 61

The memorial service for Anita B. Staloch of New Richland, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 10, at Friedrich Funeral Home in New Richland. The Rev. Charles Espe and the Rev. Ron Brey will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Friedrich Funeral Home, New Richland, and one hour before the service.
Anita passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Albert Lea Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. She was 61.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1948, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Arlo and Julia (Maczka) Anderson. She graduated from West Central High School in Minneapolis is 1966.
She was united in marriage to Roger Staloch on Dec. 28, 1966, in Minneapolis. The couple lived in the Wells area for a few years, and then moved and have since resided in New Richland.
She had worked at E.F. Johnson in Waseca and waitressed at the Otisco Creamery. She especially enjoyed making her house a home for her family, and loved entertaining for family and friends. Anita loved camping; many precious memories were made on her many adventures with family and friends.
She had been a very active volunteer in the community, which included serving on the City Council, the Historical Society, the E.D.A., and as project manager for the Cedar Point Town Homes.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; four children: Matt (Tammi) Staloch and their children, Jacob and Morgan, of Hartland, Lisa (Rod) Campbell and their children, Elise, Marcus and Samantha, of Boone, Iowa, Deanna (Joe) Haggerty and Aaron of New Richland, and Chad (Ronda) Staloch and their children, Cole, Nicklas and Seth of Hartland; brother Evan (Michelle) Anderson of Coon Rapids; brother-in-law Tom Zinda of St. Louis Park; sisters-in-law: Leona Yokiel of Wells, Doris (Leon) Glaziers of LeSueur, Alice (Les) Peterson of Castle Rock, Colo., Linda (Norbert) Sonnek of Wells; stepmother-in-law Marcy Staloch of Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Arlene Zinda; father-in-law, George Staloch; and brother-in-law, David Staloch.
Anita was passionate about her faith in Christ and she loved sharing this passion with others.
