Dance studio seems to get left out

I am writing this letter with one question in mind. It is about Joyce Matthies Dance Centre. My question: Why doesn’t Joyce Matthies get recognition? As a dancer there I feel left out. What I mean by left out is that we get no recognition from the community whatsoever. We do a November Dance Show in which our attendance is way down. This year was the worst year for attendance so far.

We also put on a recital in May at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center. Most people who come to this are either friends or family of dancers. I know that many other programs in our community receive tons of recognition; for our November Dance Show, we got a little excerpt.

We are just as good as the programs that receive a lot of recognition. On May 17, I would ask that the community come and see our show because you don’t know what you are missing. I would also ask that we get a little more recognition for what we do. This way I know personally I wouldn’t feel so left out.
