Eldora Tandberg

Eldora Myrtle (Loken) (Slinde) Tandberg passed away Dec. 31, 2009. She was born Nov. 5, 1923, in Worth County, Iowa, to Oliver Andrew Loken and Alice Theoline Bakken.
She married Udene Slinde on Jan. 10, 1943. Udene passed away Oct. 6, 1968. She then married Robert Tandberg on Nov. 18, 1972.
She is survived by sisters: Avis Lehman and Opal Schalock; husband, Robert Tandberg; children: Darryl (Linda) Slinde, David (Linda) Slinde, Daniel (Mary) Slinde, Thomas (Susan) Slinde, LoAnn (John) Swelander, Udene Slinde Jr., Michael Slinde, James (Elaine) Tandberg and Thomas (Barbara) Tandberg; eight granddaughters; five grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
A public memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at Grace Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
