The Mansfield 4-H Club met April 11 in a ditch off of Highway 22 after they finished ditch walking for the Adopt-A-Highway program. President Joel Faugstad called the meeting to order. Secretary Mariah Fossum took roll call. Treasurer Paul Boettcher gave his report.

The club was asked to serve at the 4-H Leaders Council meeting on April 26 at the Fairlane Community Building in Albert Lea.

The club wishes to congratulate Megan Thorson of the Extension staff on the birth of a baby girl, Bailey.

The May meeting was held April 26 at the Fairlane Building after the Leaders Council meeting. The add-and-drop deadline for 4-H projects was discussed, as were sales of Dad’s Belgian Waffle tickets.

The next meeting will be the club picnic and tour in June at the Suhr farm.
