Women and children of Salem Lutheran Church held a May mixer on May 1. A welcome was given by WELCA President Deb Beighley. All were treated to a brunch served by Sarah Circle. Devotions were offered by Terry Olson. The history of the May ole was given by Helen Weik. Les Anderson made the May ole. The May pole dance was performed by Jadyn Ellingson, daughter of Melissa Olson; Mallory and Morgan Luhring, daughters of Mike and Kim Luhring, and Holly, Abbie and Alyssa Veenker, granddaughters of Marianne DePoppe. DePoppe gave a story time. Piano selections were given by Alyssa, Abbie, Holly and Thomas Veenker, and the program closed with a piano solo by Thomas Veenker.
