The Sons of Norway, Normanna Lodge 52, held its monthly meeting on May 18. The meeting was called to order by President Orren Olson.

Lee Bjelland reported on the Syttende Mai banquet, which was held on May 14.There were 116 people attending the event.

The district convention will be held in Rochester on June 17-19. The delegates to the convention are Paul and Carol Fornberg and Orren and Wayne Olson.

Arlene Matson from the scholarship committee reported that the students that did reply did not meet the qualifications. Students receiving the scholarship must have a 3.5 average and have completed two years of college and have an interest in Scandinavian history.

The birthdays were recognized followed by the coin march.
