Tips for managing time as a teenager

Today I am writing to all of you about managing time. Being a high school student involved in many activities, I know that life can get stressful. I have learned to juggle all the various things I do while still having some free time.

I am not an adult so I can’t say I know how it is, but as far as a teenager goes, it comes along with a very busy schedule. An average day consists of waking up early, going to school, having sports practice, spending time with friends, doing homework, then finally going to bed at midnight. Followed by waking up the next morning and doing it all over again.

Some days it can just feel like too much. I have a few tips to help manage your time wisely, and not go crazy while doing it. Firstly, it is important to remember that we all can’t do everything. That is just too overwhelming. Making choices on what is most important to you is the key.

Most importantly, remember to focus on the task at hand. Don’t get caught up in worrying about what is to come or what just happened. It is better to excel in a couple areas than to be adequate at multiple. Keeping these things in mind, I hope that you are able to be involved and manage your time to the best of your abilities.
