Josie Brackey notched 17 strikeouts and Randi Dilly recorded four RBIs to lead the Lake Mills softball team past North Iowa 5-3 on Wednesday in Lake Mills.

Brackey went all seven innings and held the Bison to five hits and three runs.

At the plate, Dilly and Brackey had three hits each and the Bulldogs slugged a total of eight hits on the night.

The Bulldogs were without Ashley Mathuhs, who suffered an injury against Belmond-Klemme.

Lake Mills is back in action tonight in Northwood against Northwood-Kensett.
