Albert Lea police responded to a report of a car hitting a utility pole near the corner of Clark Street and Euclid Avenue just after 5 a.m. today. The pole was sheared off and blocked Euclid Avenue for a short time. Electrical service to the Albert Lea Medical Center was briefly disrupted, according to a police report. The name of the vehicle’s driver was not listed and an investigation of the incident is continuing.
