Colonels fall to Braves

The Waseca Braves pounded out 13 hits and scored nine runs en-route to a 9-4 win over the Albert Lea Colonels on Wednesday in Waseca.
Steve Hobland earned the win for the Braves as he went eight innings and allowed four runs.
Brandon Klukow took the loss for the Colonels.
Klukow went five innings, allowed nine hits and allowed five earned runs.
At the plate, Taylor Ignaszewski went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI. While Zack Oquist went 2-for-4 with two singles.
Carter Kortan led the Colonels with two RBIs.
With the loss, the Colonels fall to 0-6 on the season and will look for win number one on Saturday when it hosts the Austin Blue Soxs.
