County Road 46 closed

The Freeborn County Engineer’s office said County Road 46 from Alden to Albert Lea should be open again by June 22 depending on weather.
County Road 46 is closed from Lake Chapeau Drive to Freeborn County 6 in Alden.
The contractors, Ulland Brothers Inc., were not able to complete the project they started last August. They are currently fixing cracks and grinding the road to make it smoother.
The road is detoured to I-90 but open to local traffic. There are closed signs on County Road 46, but no notices on I-90.
