The USC Rebels Legion baseball team (2-2) split a doubleheader with Blue Earth Monday, taking the first game 3-1 before dropping the second 8-7.

Nick Fure got the win in game one, striking out eight batters while giving up four hits and a walk over seven innings.

Dustin Dylla went 2-for-4, William Huper went 2-for-3 with a home run and Jason Huper went 1-for-3 with a double.

In game two, Anthony Stenzel picked up the loss on the mound. A.J. Dreyer went 2-for-4 with two double and three RBIs and Cole Stenzel went 1-for-3 with a double.

The Rebels take the field again Thursday against Martin County West in Wellcome. First pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
