The Albert Lea Wa-tan-ye service club met on June 7. The meeting was called to order by President Dorothy Wedge. Roll call was taken and the minutes were read by Secretary JoAnne Holstad. Alice Petersen read the treasurer’s report and were approved and place on file. Petersen, announced the winner of the scholarship, McKinzey Christian.

A thank you was read from the Ecumenical Food Pantry. A thank you was also read from Christian for the scholarship.

Volunteers signed up to work at downtown crazy days July 1 and 2.

Hostess for the meeting was Janice Erdahl. The next meeting will be on July 12.
