ACT holds appreciation meal

ACT (Advanced Component Technologies) of Northwood, Iowa, part of Angus Industries of Watertown, S.D., celebrated with an employee appreciation meal.
A meal of Iowa pork chops, baked potato, baked beans, brownie and beverage was provided to all associates.
Jerry Derner welcomed associates and guests to the meeting and shared June 2010 company results. Present for the event were:
Bob Kluver, president of Angus Industries thanked everyone for their efforts and their long hours and encouraged them to continue their efforts which contributed to the successful first half of 2010.
Shannon Brasher, a representative of the John Deere Construction and Forestry Division, worldwide and supply base manager for plastics, rubber, seals and consolidators, thanked all ACT associates for their hard work. John Deere’s goal is to please their customers with a quality product and on-time delivery. ACT provides John Deere with components with those same areas of customer focus.
A new bonus program focusing on ACT’s key corporate elements of safety, quality, delivery and cost was unveiled. A bonus of $30 for each element, with a $120 potential each month when achieving bull’s-eye performance results.
The company elected to go in arrears for June and awarded $114 to each eligible associate for the month of June.
