Officer Jacob Stockwell of the Albert Lea Police Department will host Underage Access to Alcohol Server Training in conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 22. Training will take place in the Freeborn Room at the Law Enforcement Center, 411 S. Broadway Ave, Albert Lea. The training is a supporting element of the city of Albert Lea’s Best Practices Program.

The Best Practices program requires 75 percent of a restaurant’s servers to attend training within 60 days of hire.

Participants will receive a verification of attendance certificate to provide alcohol licensee’s insurance company.
