I read the small announcement in the paper stating that Emmons Lutheran Church was sponsoring a quartet called Higher Power from Des Moines, Iowa, for the church service on July 25. I decided to go and see and listen to them. What a great experience! One hour of worshipful music, with the Gospel printed on the screen that they were sharing in song and music, along with some very meaningful testimonies. If any of you readers have the opportunity to attend a service where a group called the Higher Power is in charge of the service, I certainly recommend you attend.

Thank you, the community of Emmons, the Emmons Lutheran Church and all who had to do with this delightful time. Emmons, you have been special to me and my family, and I do appreciate you.
