McColloch awarded dentistry award

Melissa McColloch DDS, FAGD, of Rochester, received the Academy of General Dentistry’s 2010 Fellowship Award during the AGD 2010 Annual Meeting and Exhibits in New Orleans, La.

The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, McColloch completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive exam and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD. As a recipient of this award, McColloch joins more than 6,600 AGD members who understand that providing great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the results of going above and beyond basic requirements.

Dr. McColloch graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in May 2002 and currently practices dentistry in Rochester. McColloch is marred to Mick Garvey and they have two children: Kara and Patrick. In addition to AGD, McColloch is a member of the Dawson Center Alumni, the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the Zumbro Valley Dental Society.
