More weekend damages reported

Albert Lea police are investigating two additional reports of additional damages allegedly committed by two teenage boys over the weekend.

According to Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels, the two juveniles also did approximately $7,000 damages to a Union Pacific Railroad engine, plus damaging two vehicles at Collins Auto Repair, 810 E., Main St.

The juveniles were arrested early Saturday morning northeast of Bancroft on 245th Street by a Freeborn County sheriff’s deputy. The have been charged with the theft of a pickup from Almco Inc. 800 E. Main St., plus breaking into the firm’s office and taking or damaging various items.
