Stabbing victim improving
Twenty-five-year-old Javier Torres, of Albert Lea, who was reportedly stabbed early Sunday morning on Columbus Avenuea near the Johnson Street railroad crossing, has been upgraded to fair condition, according to a St. Marys Hospital spokeswoman Monday afternoon.
Polls open for primary election
The polls for today’s primary election will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. In some townships they will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
