The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for much of southern Minnesota, including Freeborn County, at 1:50 p.m. The watch was in effect until 8 p.m. There is a slight risk for thunderstorms and heavy rain for Tuesday night. Wednesday will likely see thunderstorms and rains as well.
